macbook bluetooth

Can't seem to get my apple hci bluetooth up anyone have any ideas

bt ~ # hciconfig
bt ~ # hciconfig hci0 up
Can't get device info: No such device

bt ~ #hid2hci
got an error but after hciconfig hci0 up seems to be working on mac book pro hope my pointless question and self answer helps someone else

Have you tried changing the values of

HID2HCI=true

in your /etc/rc.d/rc.bluetooth & /etc/rc.d/rc.bluetooth.conf files ?? I did this and hid2hci fails for me but if I restart the bluetooth daemon it will work. I'm still trying to figure out how to have this work from boot

/etc/rc.d/rc.bluetooth restart
