    just setup an old laptop with a release date version of xp on and so far so good. you`ll have to excuse me though, i`m pretty new to all this, just doing a bit of learning by trying stuff


    the autopwn is fantastic though, petty there isnt something similar for the wep cracking (i.e. with the very easy to use menu) wesside just isnt the same.

    im runnin the real HD install of BT2 sqlite 3.5.3 and wont work even if its 3.5.1/2 on VMware-Metasploit 3.1dev rel5341 well just updated b4 run it.. gettin always that runtime error

    Not sure what happened there...Only thing I can think of is your running BT2... It's designed for Bt3, but shouldn't be an issue. Try going to /pentest/misc and running python fast-track.pyc and see what it comes back with...

    tried to run python fast-track.pyc but gettin same error > RuntimeError: Bad magic number in .pyc file

    in orderto install it i followed those steps let me know if they good,

    - download at http://www.securestate.com/files/fas.../fast-track.py
    - put it in /pentest/misc
    - chmod 755 fast-track.py
    - fast-track.py then got wht posted earlier

    tried out wiht bt3 and works fine as the steps i have mentioned the post past ... prolly is somethin strange with bt2 no idea



    but once again great tool !

    Getting errors with w3af after i did the update everything ...

    Asking for the pyopenssl library with apt-get ??

    Any help would be appreciated...

    Default dependencies

    W3AF requires python-pyopenssl and python-soappy, google and download/install... Should be added to final BT3...Not going to add dependencies for W3AF in my tool
