Hi all!!! I'm from Spain and my english is very bad sorry!! Sad I have a Edimax with rt73 and I inyection very good using Backtrack 2 and 3, Wifislax (as BT but in spanish), Wifiway, etc. Two weeks ago I buyed a Alfa usb 500mw. I have many problemas with my alfa, I have trying many options but I can associated but I cant inyection.

BT and Wifislax for example, have the drivers for rt8187 and dont need to install anything. Also I installed drivers from this web:

patch -Np1 -i rtl8187_2.6.22.patch
make
make install

LATER

cd beta-8187
rm -f Modules.symvers
ln -s ../ieee80211/Modules.symvers Modules.symvers
### NOTE versions of GCC may require this instead: ln -s ../ieee80211/Module.symvers Module.symvers
cd ..
sh makedrvbk

..... I didnt use more commands.

I buyed my alfa in ebay, ¿Might it be defective?
