Default Can't get db_postgres working properly

I can't get the server to be listening so I get error messages when creating databases, and their not there for me. Such as, db_hosts brings up an error. I checked netstat and port 5432 is not listening. I read online that the config may need adjusting, but I fond no config file in backtrack. I downloaded the installable postgres in windoze and installed and got the port into listening that way, but I still got an error when creating, no such file found. What in heaven am I missing. Thanks for any help. I would really like to try out autopwn. BTW, I had similar problems if I ran mysql. Thanks a lot.

Even though this has been covered I don't know how many times I'm going to give you a break because its Christmas. The postgress server is buggy so you need to use sqlite.

Rel1k has made a outstanding tool called fast-track which will do it all for you. Simply run the script, install all the stuff you need for autopwn and then run with it. Merry Christmas

As a learning newbie, please bear with me. What do you mean to give it execution rights and how do I do it?
