How to update software on BackTrack 3 USB

Quick question guys how can I update software (for new version) with BackTrack 3 USB.

Do I have to do that manually with each software of is there any other way to do that.

In the brief play I've had, I would have thought that the Package Handler would be your first port of call.

This is probably better in the BT3b Support Forum too...
