    Default xconf & font troubles

Thanks for the help earlier today.

I think I have really gotten in over my head this time and could use some (more) help.
Everything was running great on my dual boot XP/BT2 but the max resolution in BT2 was 800x600. I have an ATI mobility radeon 9600 that has much better res in XP.

Foolishly, I tried tping xconf at boot up (before startx) hoping that BT2 could autoconfigure my graphics. Instead, all of the text is now VERY small. The panel, the terminal bash, desktop icon texts, etc. The computer is still in 800x600 though.

I can't read what I am typing into konsole and I don't even know what to put into google to begin my search

Anyone had any experience with this?

Well have a look at: http://forums.remote-exploit.org/showthread.php?t=10407
    see if that helps
also you can use the screen resize located in K>System>Screen Resize & Rotate. This might help but it will usually go back to whatever is in your x.conf file.

speaking of x.conf it is located in /etc/X11/xorg.conf so you can edit i to make the required changes.
