kismet.conf for Atheros based card

I have an Atheros based Netgear WG511T and I am not able to get kismet runnning. It comes up and exits almost immediately.

I have tried making chnages on the lines
source and another line in kismet.conf. May be I didnt edit it correctly. Can some one please tell me what are the exact lines I have to use?

I believe for your model you must enter this line
source madwifi-ng_g, wifi0, atheros.

I think that once worked for me
