I used the linux driver from the ati site just do #sh ati<tab>
has anyone managed to get the fglrx kernel module compiled on a hdd install system with the stock kernel?
where can i get the source for the kernel that comes with back|track?
i tried a vanilla kernel source but fglrx complained that it didnt match the one i was running
I used the linux driver from the ati site just do #sh ati<tab>

kernel source is posted here
Thanks, that helped out a lot.
Also, I discovered that any changes you make during the live session persist when you do a "real" hdd install.
So, once I got fglrx running in live mode, I reinstalled to the hard drive and fglrx worked perfectly.
Just want to see if my video is install right I've been trying to get compiz to work btw I installed the drivers from the ati site.

Trigger911, can you please tell me which driver you used (maybe the link) and how you installed it? Did you install it for a HD installation? Thanks.
