    So ASUS is coming out with an 8.9" screen version of the EEE. Any news on whether or not they're keeping the same wireless chipset?

    The pc 900 will have the same Atheros chipset, but the 901 coming later this year will not.

    What would be the best usb wifi for this device? Mainly seeking more range.

    Probably the same usb device that every one mentions in all the other which usb device should I use threads.

    hi there, few day ago I took the eeepc 900, testing the bt3 I found the audio not working, I tried alsaconf but no way, I confirm wireless working even on this version. Can anybody help me? thank you. Andrea

    Maybe you could post the type of sound card that you have in the 900? Maybe this would help us out.

    you are in reason the sound card is a Realtek High definition audio, in kubuntu HH the module intel_hda_snd is loaded and get working
