Dell Latitude D620
I'm using the USB version. First, my hardware:
Intel 945GM Internal Video Card
Dell 1390 WLAN Mini Card
Broadcom NetXtreme 57xx Gigabit Controller
SigmaTel Audio
I installed to the USB drive from Windows using the batch script. That worked perfeclty, no issues at all. I didn't try the Linux script, but I'm assuming that works great too.
The video card was detected perfectly. 1280x800 resolution was selected by default, so that was great.
The sound worked perfectly.
Didn't get the wired network, but I'm sure that'll work perfectly too.
Didn't get wireless to work yet, but I only played with it for a few minutes. I'll play more and update with the results here (on in the problems section).
This is all to say that everything worked better than Ubuntu 7.10 right out of the box. So far, so good. Looking forward to doing more testing (with the ISO too).
Thanks,
Charlie
