I have a little problem. I have a vmware image of BT2, the one from ChicagoConf and i'm trying to install vmware tools.
The problem is that I don't have the right kernel header files to complete instalation. Could someone please tell me where I can find the kernel header files for 2.6.20-bt-pwnsauce-nosmp.

I've downloaded yesterday from kernel.org 2.6.20 and it's not working .. the files don't match with the running kernel.

that's the problem I don't have anything under that directory.
I've installed another fresh copy of BT2 under vmware (which has header files). Is it possible to copy the header files from this fresh installation to the other image from Chicago Conference ?

I dunno if you can copy them over and it work. Never tried that.

Seems you would be better off reinstalling however you can certainly try and report back.
