Ettercap question
Ok! so I have played with my network and succesfully MITM ARP poisioned the network...
I have edited the etter.conf to allow the SSL certificate...but I have a question..
alot of sites will pop up with the password on my linux machine when I enter them on my main computer....but at myspace....or aol.com....the passwords will not get sniffed...
is it because ettercap is set to not display those??...I know for a fact myspace should def work..
is there a setting I'm looking for...
I have found some non secure forum sites that will pop up in ettercap..
anyway it is the ettercap-ng .7 (whatever comes with bt2final)
I'm a compulsive post editor, you might wanna wait until my post has been online for 5-10 mins before quoting it as it will likely change.
I know I seem harsh in some of my replies. SORRY! But if you're doing something illegal or posting something that seems to be obvious BS I'm going to call you on it.
right I understand that....but my concern is myspace...
surely myspace isn't one of these.....last year when I did ettercap it showed up just fine...
unless somehow they have changed?
it is still not SSL
