Looks like the hosting site is temporarily down. Should be a good read though. Just out of curiosity (since i dont have the doc), do we have anything available to us that can extract hashes from a domain controller on the fly a la l0phtcrack6? I just had a client move from one sbs domain to a new one and old passwords needed to get recovered from the old DC. l0phtcrack came in handy as the old DC was running SEP11 and didnt let me use fgdump or any of the "backend" tools

There is a section on recovering the windows 2000 and windows 2003 administrator account password. You can disable the anti-virus software and run fgdump and the other tools. I almost always have to disable the anti-virus software when I want to run these types of tools.

My issue was actually not with recovering an administrative passwd but a user's - they had old domain logins and we needed his password in order to update his OSX keychain, l0phcrack came through, but i'd still like to find some solution that doesnt require a boot into windows. Awesome guide btw, slowly making my way through it.
