Still not underestimating the power...
There is no such thing as bad information - There is truth in the data, so you sift it all, even the crap stuff.
I thought I edited every post that had a link in this thread. If I missed one just my me a link and Ill fix it.
I think the first post should be edited to contain this link.
Thanks pureh@te for being so kind to host this document and also big thanks to all those that have played a part to contributing to this document.
Good subject to write something about.
but could at least have someone spell check it for you.
gonna read rest of it now

Getting headaches when reading!
Just look at section 3.1.1.2, in 3.1.1.2 point 8 in the first line you have two /mnt/XXX/blablabla where there onyl should be one (atleast that's what I think). Within the same point the last line on the page it says syskey.txt at the end. But you just said it isn't needed with samdump2. so in one point (6 lines) you already made 2 faults. Seems you didn't review the document..not even once.
still an interesting subject but you kinda f*cked it up

First let me get the rules out of the way. Do not double post.
Now You really got some nerve coming here a telling someone who freely spent their time and energy to compile a great resource for beginners to use.
Not only that but you complain about spelling and yours is not much better. To wit: words highlighted in red above and grammatically incorrect in bold.
3.1.1.2 is correct. samdump2 needs to access both the system and sam registry files in order to get the bootkey and then decrypt the hashes. I wrote a patch to samdump that changes samdump so you only need to point to the folder where the sam and security files are located and samdump will find them. The upstream authors haven't accepted the patch.
On the second point you are right I do have an unnecessary syskey.txt at the end of the line and I am missing the path to system. I will update the guide.
If you find any other mistakes please let me know.
