How to make PIDGIN or any other Messenger work in BT4?

Hi I'm having problem with making any messenger work on BT4 even Kopete I type in ID and pass and it says "Connecting" and nothing happens ...

Hi I tried to lunch the Kopete messenger from BT and installed also Pidgin but neither of them worked they just freeze as I connect. Any ideeas ?

First do not double post second post in the correct section the how to section is not for your above questions.
Third considering that you just made a post stating your inability to get your network going how are you expecting to connect with a messenger to a network? I would suggest you work on one thing at a time. Start with this thread and work your way through the links/tutorials/guides.
