    What is the best way to protect passwords?
    What is the best way to protect a wifi network (WPA with zonealarm)?
    What virus protection is the best IYO? I use NOD32

    Don't make them easy to guess or easy to bruteforce or easy to use a dictionary attack.

    Don't : Share them with anyone,...especially the missus!

    Answer : WPA2 with Radius Encryption is the best...as well as my above mentioned password hints and tips. If you cannot setup WPA2 Radius..then just use WPA2 with a password like I suggested.

    Ive never used a virus protection system while using Linux. Seems that most,.... if not all viruses and worms are geared at M$ Windows (Gee wonder why people would hate M$ for??) and the like.

    3. Kaspersky or nod32 I've found to be the best. It's not hard to get something past norton or mcafee.

    From personal experience, or FUD that you've read somewhere on the Inturweb?
    A third party security audit is the IT equivalent of a colonoscopy. It's long, intrusive, very uncomfortable, and when it's done, you'll have seen things you really didn't want to see, and you'll never forget that you've had one.

    Personal experience takes priority over from the ol' Whirled Wild Webs. However, any knowledge is helpful in refining an informed decision.
