This might be a good idea for ya.
I don't know if you've decided about what your gonna go, but i do know the company that makes nod32, eset, came out with what they call smart security, which includes a firewall as well as an av, anti-spam and anti-spyware. Looks promising. So I think you should check that out.

A third party security audit is the IT equivalent of a colonoscopy. It's long, intrusive, very uncomfortable, and when it's done, you'll have seen things you really didn't want to see, and you'll never forget that you've had one.
My experience with both Norton and Windows firewall's has been annoying. Seen the norton often break ( as in block traffic that it hasn't previously in small office settings), Norton is regarded by everyone i know as a resource hog. McAffee is no better. Many of the major software companies security software ignores some rootkits....i forget the link to the paper but look for the sony rootkit....the windows firewall , well i had heard that it was decent enough but i always found that programs can make exceptions in it without advising the user specifically, i mean a warning would be nice......also Windows calls home every so often, i find that insulting .......i should be asked before my computer does anything i haven't specifically authorized. When i was still using Windows, i used the Comodo firewall and it seemed to work pretty well without hogging to much, though i felt like i had to authorize every little thing ( but i don't mind that, i like to have control of my system) but the exceptions for programs can be made permanent. Anyway i don't want to start a security debate, though this would be the place, I work at a repair shop and i have seen to many windows nightmares .........they still keep me up at night sometimes

You know your a geek when binary jokes make you giggle
Of course, if you really wanted to have some fun, go to Wal-Mart late at night and ask the greeter if they could help you find trashbags, roll of carpet, rope, quicklime, clorox and a shovel. See if they give you any strange looks. --Streaker69
Along the same lines as the device streaker pointed out (actually made by the same company):

The CON to these devices is the yearly subscription/updates.

I'm a compulsive post editor, you might wanna wait until my post has been online for 5-10 mins before quoting it as it will likely change.
I know I seem harsh in some of my replies. SORRY! But if you're doing something illegal or posting something that seems to be obvious BS I'm going to call you on it.
now that looks cool as hell, a firewall that i can carry around everywhere, that is going in my xmas shopping list for this year![]()
