Default How To Browse Using LAN with Backtrack 2

    Hi,

    Thanks a lot you guys.

    I finally got it working.

I am posting this reply as i am browsing on the web using my Backtrack 2

live cd using firefox. I ran into a bit of trouble when i enabled tor by accident

and it took me hours to figure it out. I ran dhcpcd and the network

    recognised it.

Thank you guys once again for all the help. i really appreciate it.

See you guys around. Thanks once more.

    Bye.

have you tried just typing: ifconfig -a

this will list all your adapters up or down. This way you should be able to determine what its called.

hopefully then you can follow Re@litys advise and type ifconfig ethX UP
