Getting wesside-ng working on bt2 with atheros chipsets

Yeah, after I fiddled with wesside-ng I learned how to speak to gangsters. I can now say "Yo wassup dawg was crackin with my homies holmes?" and "Dont be hatin, I be hizzat the skizzans!"

So, I got to learn a new tool, and a new language. but I have a feeling, both of them aren't ironed out yet, er, Mama bust a cap in yo ass like kado. I think that's the translation..

I was teasing him that it took him 3 minutes to crack WEP..(3 minutes being a long time compared to someone like me doing it manually in under say...60 seconds.)

Hmm...still not working.
So I tried airoscript..........works really charming...it took me 2 mins to crack my wep key.

Oi you hooligans stop defacing my post lol Just like the guys said it's something to learn about and being a new tool you never know when knowledge like this will come in handy.

I suppose the way I see it is the man thinking "Why would you wana get wesside working when it can be done in 30 secs with a bash script" is like the a bit naughty one and the man that see it like "Wow I learned quite a bit fiddling around with that pointless tool" is a man trying to expand his knowledge of computers.

Not to mention if you hand in something like this with a nice write up explaining how it works and how you overcome problems it scores really well with exams ETC. I mean half the people scoring it wont know this way of guessing wep keys.

And don't forget WPA has it's insecurities and maybe far away in the future they may be able to guess wpa keys ??? Madder things have happened and don't forget its still a weak algorithm and its salted with the essid! You know the salt, your halfway to unraveling the puzzle

Also new tools may come out in the future that might require your card to write the ack correctly. And its not fixed in the DEV version of the madwifi drivers so this issue may go unnoticed until another release.

Has anyone been able to d/l this file? I keep getting a "No servers with the requested data..." error.
