    Of course if someone is spoofing one of your whitelisted MACs then this won't help you.

    Let him play with that, and then he can move onto more advanced methods of looking for intrusion.
    A third party security audit is the IT equivalent of a colonoscopy. It's long, intrusive, very uncomfortable, and when it's done, you'll have seen things you really didn't want to see, and you'll never forget that you've had one.

    I like this method the most. Painful? Yes...but worth every bruise in the end.
