WTF is BadTrack2?
1) Get an actual mouse and see if the problem persists.Note: I'm using a touch pad, not an actual mouse.
2) Is the pointer only "Disobedient" when your hand (sleeve, elbow, whatever) is near the touchpad?
Disobedient mouse while using Live CD
I'm using an HP Pavilion DV8000 Laptop and when I boot into BadTrack2 with the Live CD everything seems fine. However, when I open up a program (any random program) the mouse seems to have a mind of it's own. It jumps around the screen and clicks without warning...
I tried looking through the wiki for compatible laptops, but mine wasn't in the list. Thanks for any help!

I'm a compulsive post editor, you might wanna wait until my post has been online for 5-10 mins before quoting it as it will likely change.
I know I seem harsh in some of my replies. SORRY! But if you're doing something illegal or posting something that seems to be obvious BS I'm going to call you on it.
I meant BackTrack2. Ok, I'm going to go get a cheap USB mouse from somewhere and try it. I'll tell if it works or not.
