    Default Chopchop Attack, failure

Hi, when i try to do the following command:
    Code:
     aireplay-ng -4 -h 00:11:22:33:44:55 -b 00:00:00:00:00:00 ath0
(where 00:00:00:00:00:00 is my router's mac. I do have an atheros wifi card and was able to do the -3 command.)

when i do the command it give me this error:
    Code:
Failure: the access point does not properly discard frames with an invalid ICV
     - try running aireplay-ng in non-authenticated mode instead.
To my surprise, google did not return anything from this search

    edit: another problem
Ive downloaded aircrack-ng-0.9-i386-1.lzm and tried to put into the BT/modules folder on the iso, burned it back, but when i start any of the air software, they still are v0.7, im on the live cd, wtf is going on?
edit: whatever, im on v0.9 now, but still got the same error

    What does that tell you?
    Then proceed to reading

especially in the section "Fragmentation vs. Chopchop". Then you should have an answer.

Edit: To another problem, search the forum

because i was curious to find more about chopchop, i asked my friend permission (and told him what i was gonna do) to try it on his router, i though, mine is old, his is new --and a different brand, might worth a try, after some tries, i got it to work. He was really surprise i managed to get it under a couple of minutes, he now use WPA now (i think).

I'm gonna, asap, try that Fragmentation thing.
    thanks

edit: successfully cracked my router with fragmentation, thanks

just run aireplay-ng -4 -a 00:11:22:33:44:55 ath0 and see if you can get some data.

The -4 attack does not always work. Try the frag attack -5 and see if you have better results.
