nikto is in bt2 already so I'm sure it will still be there in 3. If you want to update simply download the new archive and untar it in the /pentest/scanners directory. Then edit your kde menu to point to nikto-2.00 instead of nikto. Make sure it works and then rm the old nikto. Simple to update.
