i have cracked the wep key in type of using command like this:
aircrack-ng weps.ivs
it shows me that the key is **AD:CB:35:79:FF and in ASCII Ë5yÿ
ff i think means something like space or i don't know what.. i have got around 300k ivs when i was able to crack it. how can i convert this to ASCII corectly because i think there is something wrong... i think the system does not recognize char that may be used. because it's a local wireless system and the chars can be of my language. I'm from a kind of country that uses not only latin alphabet here is some of them, but i dont know if you will be able to see :
ąčęėįšųūž
it even does not write corectlly...
any ideas...quickly.. i am still capturing ivs.. do i need?..

You say that you think there is something wrong with the key, have you checked it against the actual key ?
Search for information about unicode.
Depending on what Ap you have, you don't have to convert it to Asskey, just type it in hexadecimal and let your AP know it's Hex with a 0x ie :
0xADCB3579FF
(0 is a number, there's no letter O in Hex)
does this hint helps only in linux?...
how ever i tried to set up a wireless antena to asociate with cracked AP, but it failed... i do changed my mac to a client's that has been using that AP, but it also failed...
i tried to use that hexdemical value in win xp. my ibm software do support this kind of key values. but i failed. yes, i did change the mac in xp too. but nothing. could it be beacause of the weak signal strenght? ... it is around 30%...
any suggestions?...
