Collisions in the MD5 cryptographic hash function , sha1 should be provided
Peter Selinger: MD5 Collision Demo
This was done way back in history . so i feel that sha1 key must also be provided for verification of distro images.

The chances it takes to have an MD5 collision? Not likely. YES it can happen but you would have to have just Garbage bits to even make it happen. SHA-1 is crackable (not saying MD5 isnt) and really isn't used at least from a forensic standpoint. MD5 is still preferred. This is at least my opinion.
