Persistent USB for EFI based bootroms?

Has the backtrack team ever released EFI binaries? I need to boot and install this OS on my iMac.

I haven't used iMac, but I do know there are others who have got it to work. Since BT is based of Ubuntu, I found a good article to help point you in the right direction. I don't see why BT will be much different than whats stated here.

My iMac is a 12,2 so it won't work. But it gave me new ideas. I'm going to make a guide if I find a definitive answer.
