I just recently installed Backtrack 5 on my Macbook Pro 9.2 and had some problems getting my wifi working. After enabling b43 and installing b43-fwcutter and firmware-b43-installer i managed to connect to my own wireless with WPA-Supplicant and this script:

But when i tried to connect to the wireless at my school with terminal i wasn't able to get a connection. My schools network doesn't have encryption so i thought i would try set up a wpa2 network from my android phone. Here's what i get when i connect to my home wireless with the script:
