Thread: backtrack 5 EDD error!!!

    Default backtrack 5 EDD error!!!

    I installed bt 5 on usb with unetbootin but when i restart my computer it says
    EDD: error reading sector 567489.....
    If anybody knows the solution please help

    Try reinstalling your Backtrack on a USB see if that helps.

    It sounds to me like a bad USB stick..Try to fix USB flash memory stick using fdisk and mkfs.dos, you will revive it...Be carefull with both commands as they might erase your hdd partition if wrongly directed...

    Or use another USB Stick...
