Contact your School's NetAdmin and ask them which VPN client you should be using for BackTrack, I'm sure they'll have a answer for you.

My guess is that you'll probably only be able to use Cisco which linux does not support in that case, try vpnc.
I have succeeded in setting up kvpnc but I don't manage to use with Janusvm.. I have configured the connexion but nothing happens.
Moreover I have pptp , but when I type ifconfig I can't see any ppp0 device.. what's wrong? can someone help me please?
