Installing wireless adapter to Bt5(need help)

I am currently running a desktop with a wireless adapter and i want to install/make it work on the backtrack 5. Any ideas on how? Currently the backtrack 5 wont detect any connections. (also yes I've searched around with no results, this may be a stupid question but I'm desperate.)

Backtrack 5 R3 GNOME
64bit using a virtual machine boot, i can also USB boot if that helps.

The apapter is a DWA-130

There are two revisions in that adaptor, one has an atheros chipset and the other a realtek...Please, You need to post the chipset and the module loaded by kernel to see if it is the correct one...
