    Default Data Recovery

Does BT contain any tools related to data recovery?
If not, then why not? Have you guys ever thought about it?
Will BT3 maybe have these options?
I know it is a pen-testing distribution, but I am pretty sure the
tool would be used pretty often if contained and it would fit pretty
good in the Reverse Engineering section.

    Hint: Think forensics.
I'm a compulsive post editor, you might wanna wait until my post has been online for 5-10 mins before quoting it as it will likely change.

I know I seem harsh in some of my replies. SORRY! But if you're doing something illegal or posting something that seems to be obvious BS I'm going to call you on it.

If you are looking for data recovery software then you can try Stellar Phoenix Windows Data Recovery Software. It is a powerful tool which provides data recovery from FAT & NTFS file system. It recovers data from formatted hard drive, or recover data lost due to software malfunction, viruses or even sabotage. I had some good result when I used this recovery tool.
you can try the demo which can be freely downloaded from:stellarinfo.com

bt3 has data recovery soft ware already included and if you buy this book there are some excellent tutorials on how to use it.
