Are you running Backtrack inside a Virtual Machine ?
Hi everyoneNoob here having fun exploring the limits of my knowledge of BT5. Anyway in trying to paste text from my laptop's clipboard into a newly created document file on BT5 I notice the paste, copy cut etc commands are greyed out. Hmm so am not able to paste in the code. I guess I am doing something pretty silly and obvious here but have not worked it out. Someone kindly come to the rescue with a solution? Thanks. Doc Strange

Hi Sicknessyes I'm running it inside Virtual Box. Doc Strange
Yes I am.
So I have on my BT5/VM enabled 'Bidirectional' for 'Shared Clipboard' & 'Drag & Drop' BUT still not able to copy/drag from Windows 7 into BT5
Next I updated/installed guest additions by typing in my terminal sudo aptitude install virtualbox-guest-additions
That also did not enable me to copy/paste into BT5

Hmmm, why then does Virtual Box/BT5 have the function of 'Bidirectional' for 'Shared Clipboard' & 'Drag & Drop'? Surely it must be able to work? Otherwise why include that option? Also i have seen videos showing fokls copying & pasting slowloris code into BT5. Doc Strange
