    You don't have bad punctuation.......

    You have *no* punctuation

Please separate your sentences with a "." full stop.
Just that small measure would make your post much easier to read, assuming you want people to be able to read it and maybe even to respond to it!?

I don't know the card myself - maybe someone else here does.......
    What chipset is it?

Have you even tried to check compatibility of this card via the wiki?

    Its a Broadcom!!!

(PS...Broadcom is the shittiest chipset to have ATM)

Buy an Atheros Chipped card and save you and us all the headaches of using broad-sux...I mean broadcom.

The point that re@lity was trying to make is that if you would like a clear, easily legible answer to your question you should provide us with the same respect. What if we answered you question like this.....broadcomsucksdontuseitmaybeyoushouldbuyac ardthatismoresupportedunderbacktrak

How in the world are you gonna use linux if you can't even type a post correctly?

So if you can't expend the minimal amount of effort it takes to use periods and capitals, we should help you ... why?
I'm a compulsive post editor, you might wanna wait until my post has been online for 5-10 mins before quoting it as it will likely change.

I know I seem harsh in some of my replies. SORRY! But if you're doing something illegal or posting something that seems to be obvious BS I'm going to call you on it.

C'mon,....give him some credit. He used 6 periods. Even if 5 of them were in the wrong place.

Let's cut him some slack. At least he's trying I suppose.

No, your post isn't likely to reach the president - but it's not the president that you're asking to help you, is it?

As already pointed out, if you can't even make the effort to separate your sentences with a "." or even a new line, how much effort do you expect in return?

We're not here to check your grammar - we just want to be able to read what you've written.

I'm sorry, but if you don't know whether you can download a program, copy it to a cd, then move it to another machine for use, what exactly are you planning on doing with backtrack?

If you just want wifi access to your AP (no injection, etc) then take a look at ndiswrapper.
Is your other machine with net access running XP?
If so, you can install the cards drivers on it, copy the required files from it - move them to the BT laptop (yes, maybe via a cd) and point ndiswrapper at them.
    http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/j...,com_openwiki/

One last thing - use sensible descriptive post titles please......

EDIT: Or, you could use the search button, enter "ndiswrapper broadcom" and find a howto thread..........
