Mozilla search problem
Hi all im having trouble with mozilla firefox on BT2Final
my problem is i cant seem to get to any websites using hostnames ex.(xxx.hostname.com)
however i can get to sites by IP Address
i hav BT installed on my hard drive in dualboot if that helps
that is my only problem with BT

yes i found resolv.conf and opened it it has these 2 lines
1....a commented line with eth0 blah blah
2....nameserver 10.1.1.1
thats all it has and might i add konquerer works sweet as just not mozilla
any other ideas

So you have a DSL connection? Is 10.1.1.1 your router's address?
You could replace 10.1.1.1 with your ISP's DNS server's address (you can look this up on your ISP's homepage).

So you can browse the web with konq but not with Fierfox?

umm yea but i really like mozilla for a number of things
so any help would be sweet
Did you double check the network settings in FF?
If you can browse the web from Konq then your DNS resolution etc are working the only reason for FF NOT to work when Konq is working is if you've done something to one of the configs.
Edit: I know you have a HD install but just as a test you could boot the LiveCD and see if FF works.
