EDIMAX EW-7612HPn
Gentelmen, I was avoiding this question for about 6 months now, didnt want to bother nobody, but i am near nervous breakdown since i got the adaptor EW-7612HPn. spent many weekends trying to get it to work, trying to prove to myself that i can do it. i failed.
The biggest success i got so far with this adaptor is that i managed to get the blu light blinking with the comand rfkill unblock all
Interesting observation: airmon-ng does not show this adapter at all.
BT5 installed onto HD as the only os.

drivers supported on their website up to kernel 2.6?
my kernel is that of BT5 wich is 3.2.6 uname -r?
as far as i understand the chipset is that "RealTek RTL8192SU Wireless Driver"
ive downloaded RTL819xSU_usb_linux_v2.6.6.0.20120405.zip
tried to make and make install
obviously clash with versions?
im confused. i like linux, but this one got me a bit too far. i need help
