No wireless connections can be found! Using Asus USB-N53 (chipset: Ralink rt3572)!
Hello,
I am extremely new to Backtrack!
I am running backtracker on VMplayer. I run the machine and hit BackTrack Text - Default Boot Text Mode. i then enter "startx". into the command lines. and from there is the rest...
Basically, i open Wicd network manager and i am greeted with a "no wireless networks found" message. I am connected to my router using a USB-N53 USB wireless card. From my research i have found it uses a Ralink rt3572 chipset! From all my research i have found that the issue MAY be due to me needing to download a driver for Backtrack relating to the chipset!
I don't know what other information i should provide you with so please ask all questions necessary!
