I don't know if the Belkin is any better, it doesn't seem to find hardly any networks.
Is there something I can do to make it find more networks?

that's all you will do nothing with it, or if you manage to do something, the behaviour of the card will be so erratic that you will throw it directly in the bin......

Broadcom does suck. It is recognized on my machine, but...that's it. BT just knows it's a Broadcom. (At least for me)
