i read some of the examples on the aircrack-ng site....got it working.
Help with 3COM Card.
I bought the 3COM 3CRPAG175B XJACK Antenna card cause the description said that it works out of the box, but it dosn't seem to. When i try airodump it says cannot put card in monitor mode. It detects the card no problem.
when i try to run airmon-ng it says
ath1 Atheros amdwifi-ng VAP (VAP cannot be put in monitor mode)
Can someone help, im not real good with liunx just yet...but getting better, maybe i need to patch a driver or something? if thats the case can you give me directions?
