    Default Atheros AR5007EG and Levelone USB Wireless adapter issue in BT2

    Hi guys,

    I would like to ask your idea. I have two wireless device on my notebook which is Acer 4520.

    1 = atheros AR5007EG.
    Is there any chance that this wireless will work in BT2?

    1 = USB Wireless Level One WNC0301USB
    This USB wireless is working on my BT2 but I couldn't get any IVS. For 1 hour of waiting, I could only get 3 IVS. Tried different APS but still the same result. Is this USB device should work?

    thanks a lot guys.

    1 = no chance except under ndiswrapper and then only to connect to the net.

    2 = without telling us what chipset it uses we have no chance of knowing what to tell you.

    Thanks balding_parrot for the reply.

    So there's no chance that my atheros will work on BT2.

    Actually not really sure of the chipset of my other USB wireless adapter but here's what i've got.

    lsusb -vv result.
    Bus 1 device 3: ID 1487:2573 Ralink Technology, Corp.

    dmesg result.
    rt73 driver

    this is also showing in lsmod.. I also found something rt2570

    I used to enable this device by ifconfig rausb0 up

    hope this helps to identify my issue.

    thanks..

    No chance for that atheros at the moment as there is no driver for it yet.
    As for the other card, search the forum for ralink, rt73 and rt2570 and you will find plenty of information to help you.
