Please come back here and report your success or failure mehime because I have no way to confirm this patch myself.
I got that patch info and your cards info from the card compatibility page here on your Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG WLAN (802.11a/b/g) in case you want to read more about your cards limitations and other helpful info.
It says>>>
Hopefully this will get you some success and end your frustration. Its not supported by aireplay for Linux, unless you patch it with ipwraw-ng drivers.![]()

Well here's a video of my clientless attack. start to finish 128bit encryption
http://blip.tv/file/765249
a little question,
how can i download the video?
i've copied dan paste that link to the
_keepvid.com
but, result link seems not valid. it's always return to
_blip.tv/
try using wget you'll have to figure out the http address for the *.flv
alternativly I could just upload to rapidshare i suppose.
You could use a Firefox extension like Video DownloadHelper to download the video or to get the direct download link.

Hey guys! Just want to let all of those who have contributed to making videos and tutorials you have done a great job. They do come in handy when we get stuck.
I do have some issues that I am trying to resolve. Before I rant and rave about what is happening I want to let you know that I have searched the forums and other websources as well as the wiki. There are a lot of good articles but always seems people have different issues that can arrise.
Now to my problem. I am running backtrack 2 final as a live cd and I have a hp 6700dv equipped with an Intel Pro Wireless 3945. I have found the ipwrar drivers and they seem to be working fine as far as I know. When I load them I have the wifi0 interface. I am successfully able to run the aireplay-ng injection test with version 0.9.3 and it reports that injection is working. I then load up airodump-ng to see what APs are available, once I have selected one, I restart airodump-ng. for example: airodump-ng --channel 5 --bssid Test --write ouput --ivs wifi0, sometimes I do omit the option for the bssid, but I usually use it. If i see a client who is already connected, I try capturing ARPs. aireplay-ng -3 -e bssid -b AP mac addy -h mac addy of client wifi0. Then I use the deauth attack, aireplay-ng --deauth 10 -a AP mac address -c client mac addy wifi0. I usually capture a few ARPs, usually not too many, around 12 or so, sometimes I end up with more, but I havent seen more than about 100. It says that packets are being sent, and I can usually comfirm it by looking at the airodump window and see that client sending packets like mad, however, the IVs are only increasing by 1 per second.
I have tried doing a fakeauth with a different mac and then trying to replay ARPs from that address, but the same thing happens. The AP is quite close, within a few feet, there is no MAC fillter that has been applied. One thing that could be affecting it, although I highly doubt it is that the systems connected to the AP are all using static IPs. Anyhow, i am kinda out of ideas, and thought maybe someone could help provide some insight into something I may have overlooked.
thanks
In addition to what I have written above, when there are clients that are currently connected and I am injecting ARPs is that I get dissasociation packets. If the client is currently connected and associated how is this possible? I try changing my mac address with macchanger to that mac address and it seems to get rid of the message from time to time, but still I see the packets in airodump flying, but the data isn't going up. One thing i've noticed is that I typically get a dissasociation packet if I am using a deauth attack, of course the client is getting knocked off and this would appoint to the reason they are not associated.
Try these aircrack-ng threads:
ipw3945
***iwlwifi drivers with injection***
NEW ipw 3945 driver: ***ipwraw with wireless extensions***
At least !!!! injection for ipw3945 is possible.
Injection with ipw3945 and wifiway-0.x.
