Is it USB, PCMCIA, Express Card, Built in ?
What chipset does it have ?
    Is it A B G N or a combination of them ?
Have you tried plugging it in, and if so what happened ?
What functionality do you want to get from it ?
    What's the output from ifconfig -a ?
    etc etc

We need info to even begin to have an idea of what to tell you.

there is no linux driver available for this MICROSOFT card.....

lol.... M$ & linux are not in good terms......

you must use ndiswrapper for that card, so you won't be able to do anything else than connecting to internet , that means no wep crack, no monitor mode, no master mode.........

here are the latest driver AFAIK

    http://ankhcraft.com/drivers/mn720-ankh.zip

unzip driver and cd to the dir
    ndiswrapper -i mn720-ankh.inf

you will need to create by yourself a module in order to autoload this at each startup if your're using live installs(cd or usb)
Watch your back, your packetz will belong to me soon... xD

That would depend upon what you want to do. Did you read the Wiki, search the forums?
A third party security audit is the IT equivalent of a colonoscopy. It's long, intrusive, very uncomfortable, and when it's done, you'll have seen things you really didn't want to see, and you'll never forget that you've had one.

    master mode :

    1. Master mode (also called AP or infrastructure mode) is used to create a service that looks like a traditional access point. The wireless card creates a network with a specified name (called the SSID) and channel, and offers network services on it. While in master mode, wireless cards manage all communications related to the network (authenticating wireless clients, handling channel contention, repeating packets, etc.) Wireless cards in master mode can only communicate with cards that are associated with it in managed mode.

Hmm,...never heard infrastructure mode referred to as Master Mode before. Wait a second...your quote says
"used to create a service that looks like a traditional access point."
A fake AP??? A honeypot perhaps?? I'm confused.

    N/m ..I'll "Google it"
