my problem is I am running a Host of windows 7 and guest of Back Track 5 rc3 32 bit.

On virtualbox and on VMWARE player, I am having problems of no gui.

I am running KDE.

Now, when i put in startx at "root@bt" (In VMWARE PLAYER) everything goes black for a short time and I recieve this output:



For Virtualbox, I get the exact same result except it stays blank.

It does not work with my virutal machines.

Remember that I am running this through a virtual machine with windows 7 64bit as a host and I can get to the root prompt but thats it.
