    Exclamation Forum Posting Issues Here.

    Hello everyone,

    I regret to inform you all that there is some "bug" ATM that will NOT allow you to post sometimes. Several of you have PM'd me with the error...

    Method 501 POST to newthread.php not supported


    or...



    Method Not Implemented

    POST to /editpost.php not supported.


    or even....

    Method Not Implemented

    POST to /replypost.php not supported.



    If you receive any of these errors...no need for worry. Your not banned nor do you have any restrictions on your account. I don't know the cause of this problem...but I have reported it to the Admins. So whenever one of them gets online, hopefully this can all be straightened out.

    On behalf of the developers and staff here at remote-exploit.org, I do humbly apologize for any and all inconveniences you have experienced. I know its frustrating cause its happened to me 5 or more times already today. Please bare with us and we will get to the bottom of this. Again, I apologize for any / all inconveniences you have or may have experienced.

    If your one of the people having this or other similar issues...please speak up!
    And If you have a different error or other forum problem, please post it here.

    I had that issue yesterday while trying to post in the tutorial section. My gut is its a post length issue with Apache...

    No, I don't think its post length...I've tried long and short post successfully. However, try to type the full command to edit lilo. I bet ya that you can't.

    example...

    nano etc lilo.conf


    will work..

    but try to put in the slashes and it won't. Even if you try to use "code" tags.

    somehow, i cant post in spanish, wanted to help a guy in the newbie forums with bad english, so i thought "hmm, lets translate to see if i can help the guy", the server said NO

    here's the error it gives me

    "400 Bad Request

    Bad Request

    Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.
    Apache/2.2.0 (Fedora) Server at forums.remote-exploit.org Port 80"

    Hmmmm there's a security issue for ya, looks like someone needs to set their ServerTokens and upgrade to Apache 2.2.6 (2.2.0 was quite a number of revisions ago)

    All seems to work now, at least from the perspective of the problems I was having, and the ones other people were having that I can test.
