    Default Madwifi-ng drivers problem..........

    I've a problem to my pci wlan card for use new madwifi driver.I download from:

    http://snapshots.madwifi.org/

    where it is madwifi-trunk-current.tar driver.The pb is when turn into monitor mode the mac address change to ex : 06:11:22:33:44:55 and i chane to managed mode it also same.After reboot its become normal.But when uninstall that driver and using the others driver its work fine the mac address become 00:11:22:33:44:55.But the injection from the 2 drivers work fine.

    This is a common problem..to fix it install....

    Thanks -=Xploitz=- its work..So what is the different madwifi-ng-r2732-20071009.tar.gz with madwifi-ng-0.9.3.2..?Its there can be use any of this 2 drivers?But i already try and its work great also.I need for advice.....thanks

    Your quite welcome. I'm not 100% positive on this one..but I believe that your madwifi-ng-r2732-20071009.tar.gz was yesterdays daily or nightly build..hence..its unstable. The one I suggested is the ONLY one I use. I know it works..and why try to work on something that's not broke eh?? My madwifi-ng-0.9.3.2 I directed you to is their latest CURRENT STABLE RELEASE.

    If you want more details on why it does that macchanger bug..I'd search their forums or wiki or put in a ticket on their site for a more detailed explanation if you just really insist on knowing the real reason.. .

    Yeah..I really want the real reason coz this make me confuse to use any stable version of madwifi drivers..

    May i know how to use this ONOE, AMRR, SAMPLE and MINSTREL.The new is Minstrel..It there important to choose any one to use for configure wlan?
