when i install backtrack on VMware the mouse work fine
but if i boot in hard disk the mouse does not work

I believe that Backtrack does not have the drivers required for your mouse to run. Which is why you are encountering the issue.

Best thing to do is see if you can find a Linux driver and try installing it on Backtrack. If you can not find compatible drivers stay on VMware.
