    Unhappy can't find HD

I have an acer extensa 4620Z that I'm trying to install bt3 beta on as the main os. I haven't been able to find/access the hd for partitioning and installation.
The hd shows up just fine on my other computer. So far I have wiped my hd and re-set bios and it didn't help any. Opensuse will install just fine (too bad that's not the os I want). So I don't think I have a hardware issue.
I'll take all the help I can get.
    thanks...

Is the drive mounted in Backtrack?
    Use
    Code:
    bt~# mount
    to see if it is
    and
    Code:
    bt~#umount
to unmount it if it is.

What did you use to "wipe" the hard drive? Did you use bt or something else?

What is the result of a fdisk -l when you run it from the BT live cd and OpenSuse?
