ok so you cracked the wep key

I am going to change my router from wpa to wep to test it out tonight.
looking at -=Xploitz=- VIDEO: Volume #1 "E-Z No Client WEP Cracking Tutorial"
he gets E6:E6:79: D9:A2

I set my key to abcde12345
would it show up as ab:cd:e1:23:45

No, it will set the key in hex value.
when you enter the string for your ap then it should show this hex value.
that is the actual value for authentication.

In your router if you don't click on ASCII, then it will be hex. Look carefully when you do the Router WEP settings.
