wow. i'm such a noob, please help.
ok, so i have a vista laptop, i burned the BT2 disc, put it in, restarted, and the screen i get says " boot: "
anything i type here comes up as kernel not found (or something similair, can't remember the exact wording). if i leave it at that screen it starts loading vmlinuz, but eventually freezes at an all black screen.
please help me. i have never used linux before and i can't find any one else having this problem...
It could be your CD. Maybe try a different computer to check if it does the same thing. After that try burning a new cd.
Have you tried just pressing enter ?

There is an intentional delay at bootup to allow the input of parameters which impact on the kernel. The delay is minimal and loading should continue normally after a short time.
