    Default Linux

    I advise you to start with another live Linux system such as ubuntu or knoppix.

    You will learn much about partitioning and the Linux operating system.

    From what you have described this might be of more benefit than simply giving you revised commands.

    Help you what? As far as I can gleen from your post, you have something called winzoz, then you had your live bt2 disk for lunch. Other than that, it also looks like you have just created a partition on your primary hard drive that encompasses your entire drive.

    I think that you have just hosed your winzoz installation. Children should NOT be allowed to play with matches.

    "qtparted"* might get you started partitioning your hd easier than fdisk. Qtparted is really simple to use, but you still need to know exactly what you want to do, otherwise you´ll end with nothing to boot with..

    * included in BT2 liveCD
