The reason why it only appears to work at your house is because you are behind your ISP's NAT firewall. You have to get a public facing IP address for it to work in the wild.
I have played around a little bit with the Social engineering toolkit and i found out that it only works within my home network.
I mean that the ip adres generated by SET which you sent to the 'victem' is an internal ip adres so this is logical to me.
But then i wondered if you can only use it in your home network no one could use it to do any real harm, so my question is:
Can SET only be used in you own network or is there a way to make it work outside your network?
The reason why it only appears to work at your house is because you are behind your ISP's NAT firewall. You have to get a public facing IP address for it to work in the wild.
And How i will do that
?
I suggest you do a little more research on how ISP's work and how NAT works.
On this topic I really do not see it as a necessity to use SET like this from your home computer. If you are using it in pentesting than you should already have everything you need to get it working.
